Where to start as a Creator?

Coding + creating content can change your life, but where to start as a newbie?

The problem with me

Welcome to a new issue of our newsletter, and in this one, I am actually going to do some justice to the name “The Coderpreneurto you, and why was it named the way it is. Let me share with you something I have been thinking about recently:

The thing is, coding and development are amazing skills, I code daily and I hope you do too, but the unsatisfied part of me was always there looking for something more to do, something more adventurous, something more to look forward to.

And here we are.

This is the problem with me, and maybe with you too, we aren’t satisfied with what we have, always hungry for more, more growth, more skill, more hustle.

How did I start finally?

In my opinion, getting started with a thing is MUCH harder than actually doing the thing, which affected my productivity, and always kept procrastinating on when should I start posting the content I always wanted to.

Here’s the answer:

The best time to start is NOW

I know this is cliche, you probably have heard it a million times before, but guess what?

It’s the most correct answer as well.

In 2022, around February, I decided to create a Twitter account and start posting content around my niche (development) although my niche (now) is very broad, and I am trying to help people in different domains too.

And after spending some time doing it, I figured out what was working, I was making new friends, and my content got viral.

And today, we are a community of 7600+ learners!

All because of your support.

The Starting point

Getting to the meat of our conversation today, I am going to give you some actionable steps to implement and finally get started with learning in public.

Action Steps:

  • Create a Twitter account (I assume you have one already)

  • Follow 10 people in your niche

  • Comment under their posts about what you feel about the same

I know this is not much, but for me, this is exactly what kickstarted my journey and got me into the flow state.

This should be enough for you to get up and start something that will speed up your learning and embark upon something new that will teach you many more things than just development.
