You don't need to code more
What to do if you get stuck while you're learning to code...
What to do if you get stuck learning to code?
I get this question almost daily in my DMs.
You simply need to stop coding more and focus on less.
But before moving on, I have got something in store for you, a small gift from my side.
I will tell more about it in the 1st point, anyways:
“I need to stop coding more?” A mentee asked me when he enrolled in my 1:1 coaching program.
I told him to stop grinding like a madman for 6 hrs a day and do this instead.
Let me explain:
A NO-BS email on how to code less and get more done.
1. You're probably learning many things at a time:
Stop doing this as soon as you can; this is killing your productivity more than you can possibly imagine.
I remember a year ago when I was learning ReactJS, solidity, GCP, blockchain, data structures, machine learning, databases all at the same time.
This is the worst thing you can do.
By doing this, you're diluting your focus and simply reducing your quality of learning.
I have got a small gift for you below at the end.
The validity is only a few days more, so make sure to get it while it lasts.
Anyway, back to the topic.
2. Learn only 2 concepts at a time:
I ditched the idea of trying to learn so much at once and instead started to focus only on 2 things at a time.
DSA, and Web development.
Now I only had 2 things to oscillate through.
In the mornings, I used to solve 1 leetcode problem, learn 1 concept, and take a break.
And then learn web development and build projects in the afternoon.
Result? 130+ leetcode questions and 3 major projects in my resume.
Finally landing my first software engineering job.
3. Staying consistent will take you further:
If there was only 1 piece of advice I would tell you to follow, it would be staying consistent.
Learning to code and progressing is all about consistency.
If you miss 1 day, its fine.
If you miss another, its not.
Make a habit of coding daily, without fail, and see the progress compound eventually.
I want YOU to progress and go ahead.
Now, what’s the free gift I can’t shut up about?
It is this:
The 100DaysOfCode tracker.
I am going to take off the tracker from my library and launch another product soon.
But what does the tracker help with?
It solves the biggest problem of your coding journey:
CONSISTENCY.
Also yes, it is 100% FREE.
But there’s a catch, I am going to limit the sales only to the first 50 people because I want to help you take more action.
Chances are, if you’re seeing lesser and lesser progress in your coding journey, you just lack action.
What do you get inside the 100 Days of Code tracker?
Full 100 days tracker to implement the challenge
Free access to the Coderpreneur community
Full guide on how to stay consistent
It’s completely FREE, but be one of the first 50 who get it.
See you soon.
